Bach’s St Matthew Passion — 300 Years

 

In March 2027, the Canberra Bach Ensemble presents two performances of Bach’s St Matthew Passion, marking 300 years since the work was first heard in Leipzig.

This major undertaking brings together CBE’s choir, soloists and orchestra at St Christopher’s Cathedral. Donations through the Australian Cultural Fund will help meet the substantial costs of presenting this extraordinary work. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
